Jarrod Bowen has made a frank admission and it doesn’t make West Ham United manager David Moyes look very good at all.
West Ham manager David Moyes is under real pressure right now after his side’s terrible run, and the poor form of Jarrod Bowen certainly hasn’t helped matters
The 27-year-old Hammers forward is currently in the midst of a really challenging run, and he hasn’t registered a goal or an assist since January 7th.
West Ham, and Moyes of course, need Bowen back to his best as a matter of urgency. The fact that the Scot is seemingly fighting tooth and nail not to get sacked probably explains why he rushed Jarrod back from injury last month.
The Hammers forward was speaking to the club’s official website today, and admitted that he’s been playing through injury over the past month.
Bowen actually missed only two weeks of action after suffering what looked like quite a serious injury during our FA Cup clash with Bristol City.
Moyes has a history of rushing players back from injury too quickly – even those close to Lucas Paqueta are said to be concerned that the Scot will bring the Brazilian back into action too soon in order to help save his job.
Let’s hope that the Scot bringing Jarrod back into the fold as soon as he did doesn’t cause any long lasting problems for the forward.
The Hammers need the former Hull City star to be on his very best form between now and the end of the season, if we are to achieve any kind of success domestically and on the continent.
David Moyes will be really hoping that he didn’t jump the gun too much by bringing Jarrod Bowen back for our clash with Sheffield United just over a month ago.
