Kieran Maguire express confusion over alarming Everton ‘problem’….

It is unclear who is making executive-level decisions at Everton with club chairman Farhad Moshiri ‘AWOL’.

That is the view of finance expert Kieran Maguire, who spoke exclusively to Football Insider about the confusing nature of Everton’s boardroom structure during their takeover.

The Toffees are still awaiting approval from the Premier League to complete their takeover with US investment group 777 Partners.

The Merseyside club owe close to £200million in loans to 777 Partners after they helped inject funds to cover operating costs.

Everton were also involved in a Premier League meeting this week to discuss a change to financial regulations after they were charged with two separate breaches of the Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Maguire revealed to Football Insider that Everton will vote in favour of new financial regulations as it will allow the club to challenge the Premier League’s elite.

However, Maguire questioned which senior figure at Goodison Park is making executive-level decisions with Moshiri seemingly out of the picture.

“I think the problem Everton currently have is that they appear to be rudderless when it comes to executive-level decision-making,” Maguire told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.
