Falcons introduce new coordinators in Flowery Branc

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Falcons introduced their new defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake and new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson to the media on Wednesday.

In addition, special team coordinator Marquice Williams also spoke.

When talking base defense, Lake said it would be a 3-4. However, it’s not that simple. The falcons defensive coordinator reiterated he plans to run multiple.

Robinson with offensive reins

The biggest offseason question is at quarterback.

Falcons offensive coordinator has a lot to figure out this offseason: Who will the quarterback be? What will the offensive scheme look like? Just to name a few.

Robinson told media “all options are on the table” when it comes to quarterback.

The OC said he’s looking for a quarterback who is the most competitive guy in the locker room.

“Those guys that just have the instincts, the feel for the game,” Robinson said. “The stuff that you can’t really put into words. Sometimes they’ve got ‘it.’ Those are the guys you are looking for.”
