Manchester City collaborate with music giant over 2024/25 fourth kit

An icon of the music world has collaborated with Manchester City on the design of their 2024/25 fourth kit, a new report has revealed.

The reigning Premier League champions will introduce a fourth edition to their three-kit range from the start of next season in what will become the first time they have produced such a shirt in the history of the club.

Manchester City’s current range of kits feature bold designs and smart commemorations towards a number of subjects around the club, including the design of the Etihad Stadium, the city’s history and architecture, and the lightning style of play and culture of the club.

Now however, Manchester City alongside their manufacturers and kit designers Puma will be releasing a commemorative fourth kit for next season which will point towards music legends Oasis in a design partnership with Noel Gallagher, according to reports.

That is according to the information of Footy Headlines, who have revealed that Manchester City’s first-ever fourth kit has been designed in collaboration with Manchester music legend and die-hard fan of Pep Guardiola’s side, Noel Gallagher.

The Daily Star has also reported that Manchester City are planning to release the limited edition fourth shirt next season that will also commemorate the 30th anniversary of when Oasis released their album ‘Definitely Maybe’.

“Noel once had a pop at Liam when he started his clothing line, Pretty Green, but this is entirely different. Both are mad City fans but it is Noel who was asked.

“He was asked to help with how the shirt will eventually look and it will be a bit of a collectors’ item, plus one in the eye of Liam, who is also City daft.”

At present it remains unknown as to when Manchester City will release their fourth kit, however there is a high chance that it becomes the final of the four jerseys to be released, with the home shirt expected to be unveiled in late May.

Manchester City have also produced Chinese New Year limited edition shirts in recent years, with their latest design having been worn by the club’s women’s team during a recent clash with Manchester United.
