The San Francisco 49ers have one more opportunity to get George Kittle and Arik Armstead a full practice ahead of Super Bowl 58.
Both tight end Kittle and defensive tackle Armstead were limited for a second successive practice as the 49ers put the final touches on their preparations to face the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kittle has been dealing with a toe issue while Armstead is still battling the foot and knee injuries that have plagued him since Week 13.
But head coach Kyle Shanahan rejected any notion of concern around either player, despite expressing hope on Wednesday that they would be “full-go” for Thursday’s session.
Linebacker Oren Burks (shoulder) and cornerback Ambry Thomas (ankle) were also limited.
Defensive tackle Kalia Davis (ankle) practiced in full, but there has as yet been no indication that the Niners will activate him to the 53-man roster after opening his 21-day practice window prior to the NFC Championship Game.
